Particular emphasis is placed on finding a distinctive voice and sustaining a committed writing practice over time.
Addiction and Narrative Consultancy
Consultation for writers, researchers, organisations and practitioners seeking informed perspectives on addiction, recovery and the social conditions that shape them. This may include advising on conceptual framing, ethical representation and the interpretation of lived experience within cultural, institutional or public-facing work. Charlotte offers critical insight across literary, academic and social contexts.
Editorial Consultancy
A focused manuscript assessment offering detailed structural and conceptual feedback on a completed or near-completed draft. This service offers an experienced reader’s perspective on narrative architecture, thematic coherence and the shaping of complex material into a fully realised literary form. Typically delivered as written notes followed by a single consultation and reflective discussion.
Recovery Support
Informed by lived and professional experience in the field of addiction, recovery and writing for recovery. Reflective one-to-one support for individuals navigating addiction, recovery or significant life transition. Sessions provide a calm, non-judgemental space in which to explore patterns of dependency, meaning and change over time, and may incorporate writing as a practice of attention and understanding.
